April 2019 TBR!

Here’s what I’m hoping to read: It’s about a serial killer who burns people alive in the Lake District’s prehistoric stone circles and he leaves no clues behind. It will make it more it interesting beause I normally read about 3 different synopsises for a book before I read it. It’s about a cold case that destroyed one of the characters careers and I’m so excited to see if it’s finally solved.

March 2019 Wrap Up!

After only reading 2 books in January and 4 books in February, I think I’m finally clawing my way back as I read 11 books in March! Here’s what I read: Legendary by Stephanie Garber: Feels like I read this such a long time ago now, wow! It’s such a terrifying ordeal to go through that and the author really stepped it up a notch by making the main character pregnant. I’ll have to find out because I definitely want to read more of his books and see more of the main character, Eddie Flynn!

Top 5 Wednesday: Books You Thought You’d Hate But Ended Up Loving

Whilst the writing wasn’t amazing, I thought it was such a creative story I may consider going back to Sarah’s books or giving her other books a chance in the future just because I really loved her take on Catwoman. I honestly thought it’d be too hard to follow and it wouldn’t be explained very well as some fantasy books fall victim to rubbish world building. Also normally I hate books were the main character discovers they have a super cool, unique power that nothing else has but Cora pulled it off flawlessly and I’m so excited to see Aurora use her power in the second book.
