I've mentioned before that my relationship with yoga has been an ebb & flow for more than a decade -- at times I've latched closely onto the practice, even defined myself by it because I often practiced multiple times a day and felt deeply connected to who I was on the mat. . Other times I strayed from yoga altogether in favor of running, travel, college life, and even in times of sadness where I just couldn't face what I knew would come up on the mat. My body craves it when I wake up in the morning, and in the middle of the day I feel an intense pull to my mat or to a @corepoweryoga class. It clears my head, helps me breathe, gives me the space to let my mind flow wildly the way I know it's meant to, and makes my body feel SO open and so alive. .

A good rule of thumb is to have 1 gram of protein a day per pound of weight you carry.
