My name is Rebecca Alvizures, founder and owner of Becca Alvi Blog. Becca Alvi Blog was founded in June 2016 in an effort to inspire young women to express their sense of style and to feel confident in their own skin. Becca Alvi Blog allows Becca to give inspiration and advice to women as well as show her own sense of style. Becca was born and raised in Dallas, Texas under a Brazilian culture ( being the first of her siblings to be born in the United States). Here she has found her love of passion at a young age and the man she now calls her husband. Growing up with constant trips to Brazil, she has created a style of her own with influences from her Latin roots. *I would like to review beauty products, fragrances, and accessorires.

🎉 Turned 27 today.. what a year it’s been! As I sit here and reflect on just life, I have to say I’m so thankful for all the love and support I have received from so many of my loved ones over the years! Truly feeling so blessed 🤍 Big shoutout to my hubs @bryanalvizures for treating me like royalty today lol I love you! Thanks to all for all the birthday wishes - B

After bathing and blow drying, I set the blow dryer on cool and a little always from Rafa (that way he gets the cool breeze he likes). Then I pet him til he falls asleep. Bath days are crazy exhausting but these little moments are so worth it! 💛 @the_alvi_pups

Two weeks ago my dad had a stroke caused by a blood clot in “The Pons” which is the largest part of the brainstem. It’s a group of nerves that function as a connection between the cerebrum and cerebellum. The pons is involved in many autonomic and sensory functions including, respiratory processes, fine motor control, equilibrium, muscle tone, and the Circadian cycle. When he was taken to the hospital that night, he could walk and he couldn’t talk. This is a man whose laugh you can recognize anywhere/in a crowded room. I remember crying that night thinking I wouldn’t hear his laugh again or his stories from his time in Angola or Alaska. Hearing his Little Johnny jokes! But quickly we started praying and our friends and family from literally all around the world joined in prayer for him. The next day he started talking, slurred and hard to understand but it was a baby step that gave us hope and gave him the motivation to keep pushing. Today he has recovered 95% of his speech and is walking with a cane. God has been faithful and present throughout this difficult circumstance and we have witnessed the power of prayer. Thank you to all who have prayed for him and our family, who have checked in on us and given us a words of motivation, faith or hope. I’m always amazed at how great our God is. He truly is a miracle working, loving and faithful Father. If you are going through a season of pain, uncertainty or whatever the case may be, I encourage you to pray and give your all to Him because He is here, He is listening and He is faithful ♥️
