I adore having my former newborn clients come back for their child’s 1st Birthday milestone, in the form of a cake smash photo session. Using neutral tones for a cake smash session, I feel really puts emphasis on all those changes by making their gorgeous 1 year old features the focus of the photo. A Cake Smash Session is SOOOO much more than just a Cake Smash Cake Smash Sessions no matter what tones or theme you choose are so much more than just pictures of your little one eating cake. No matter what type of photo session you choose, Boudoir, Maternity, Newborn or Cake Smash, your digital images can be hand selected by you, and custom designed by me. Most of my clients do purchase an album from their maternity session, and a separate album from their newborn session. That is why it is essential that all my boudoir clients have something tangible in their hands to remember their boudoir session experience. Many of my boudoir clients opt for a custom heirloom album because it can keep their images private, but they can pull it out every so often to admire or to gift!

The award for best hair goes to this little lady, and I am lucky enough to be her newborn photographer. Her cute hair made this Newborn Session a joy to shoot. One of things I find most important when customizing a shoot for clients is choosing the proper color palette that matches not just their vision for the shoot but also the existing colors in their home and nursery. Even after 7 years of being a Newborn Photographer, I still never tire of seeing the pure joy and unconditional love on new parents’ faces as they bring their babies in to be photographed.
