Everyone loves the Carpool Karaoke series—musicians singing along at the top of their lungs to their own songs makes for great entertainment. But who would have thought that the entire Cyrus family singing along to Metro Station would make for such pure family fun? Miley’s older brother, Trace Cyrus, is well known in the scene for being one half of the alt-pop outfit, Metro Station. They also go on to sing father Billy Ray Cyrus’ 1992 hit, “Achy Breaky Heart,” full on with wigs, accents and everything.
Billy Ray Cyrus is putting his own spin on Don Williams’ 1978 classic “Tulsa Time. The country singer recently dropped a trippy music video for his unique version and it features his daughter Noah Cyrus on vocals. “Tulsa Time” is featured on Cyrus’ most recent album, Set the Record Straight, which was released in early November. In addition to showcasing his daughter, Noah, the song also includes a collaboration with Derek Jones.
Billy Ray Cyrus’ remixed version of the late Don Williams’ classic “Tulsa Time,” featuring duet vocals from Cyrus’ daughter, Noah Cyrus. The father-daughter duo team up to start the party on their beat-heavy version of the country classic, giving the song a headbanging feel throughout its original lyrics. Combining elements of Top 40 hits with rock music and the song’s country spirit, Billy Ray enthusiastically felt like this song represented his latest sound and made for some good vibes. The song also features the help of U. S. Navy Veteran Derek Jones playing along on the disco track, and Billy Ray felt honored to have someone so important work together with his and his daughter on this special project.
