Loves I want to share this with you and why I do what I do. Just over 2 years ago, my so disappeared from our sight, it was literally moments. I found him face down in the pool. A contractor had left a door open. I jumped in and performed CPR, now thankfully he is ok and has no long lasting effects. But it's drives me to implore everyone to be #cprcertified It's a skill I never ever want you to have to use, but one I want you to be able to if needed. Allo loves! Fair warning...this may have a trigger Did you know I used to be super smart? Like Matilda-ish I got in trouble at school for correcting teachers that was kinda fun. I refused to participate in math in infant school and when brought up as a concern the teachers learned it was because I already was working equations and multiplication and the two plus 2 bored the shit out of me. My degrees are in math and physics. But why don't I boast about them? Or share that I did that? One thing TBI Traumatic brain injury It's affected my memory center, my calculation process. It's made me embarrassed about my smarts. Because I was holding myself to the super high IQ. Not allowing myself to validate my survival. I'm still smart, it just takes me a lot longer to do the math. Ive also realized it's changed my focus and my overall processing skills. All from domestic violence. If you didn't know, I'm a survivor of extreme violence and this is from my skull being smashed into a concrete floor over and over. This means I need to use things to keep me on track, apps, calendars, reminders I'm sharing because no matter what the issue is, you should seek out a solution. My phone goes off over 20 times a day. Everything from reminders for taking meds, to going to sleep and recording videos. My calendar is my life line. You don't see this side of me. Because I have learned to hide it, part of my journey this year is being vulnerable and open. This part of my journey is what put me in a zone of genius for setting up systems and using them.
