Bryan Willis was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on March 14, 1994. The creative spark was in Bryan from early on in his life. Whether it was participating in holiday plays at the local church or participating in various theatrical projects at the Boys and Girls Club, Bryan would dive head first into anything he did with a passion and excitement that would shine through in his work. Although Bryan has been acting since before he would walk, he got his first professional opportunity as a member of the variety show Cartoon Cartoon Fridays on Cartoon Network. Bryan brings an intensity and truth to any role and relies heavily on his Meisner Technique, Strasbourg, and Stanislavsky’s Method when approaching his work. His 5 years studying under a 2-time Emmy Award winning actor allowed him to focus on the importance of Script Analysis and Character Study when crafting and developing an honest portrayal. Another true love for Bryan is his music. Coming from a musical family in rural Alabama, song is practically woven into his DNA. From an early age, Bryan took on several musical instruments to make his music come alive. From piano to guitar to drums and even vocals, Bryan has always seen song as a way to convey the emotions that mold and move people. Finally, Bryan leans on the love of his wife and daughter, and looks to them as his primary motivation muse.
“There’s just something about the creative process. Whether I am working as an artist or simply a craftsman, whether it’s music or visual art or bringing a story to life on the written page, the ability to bring a new story to life and be a part of that process is invigorating. I can’t think of a better way to spend my day.”- Bryan
During these uncertain times, I take some time to reflect on life and just how much I take for granted. This life is complex and beautiful, and that is what inspired my most recent work, titled “Life”. By continuing to use this website, you agree to their use.
