Sometimes I blink and I wonder where time goes, Its been 6 months since my baby was born, he is sitting, rolling, laughing, eating purees, teething like a monster on everything, sleeps through the night most of the time, absolutely adores his big brother, drools and spits up on everything and is as chunky as can be Isaac had his baptism over the weekend, he has 4 lovely godparents who I hope will give him love, support, time and attention for his entire life, then we ate food and celebrated with our friends and family. my big baby Lachlan will be turning 2 this coming Thursday! It’s hard to watch your baby grow up but its wonderful to see him develop in himself…
After a moment of shock and panic on my part, I managed to put both him and my 5 month old in the car and drive him down to the doctors office around the corner, making a quick phonecall to my husband to come home from work. Fast forward to the my husband getting home and suddenly Lachlan’s rash just spread and flared into some crazy hives, moving up his cheeks, ears, forehead and down his chest and he became inconsolable. Lachlan was hysterical but was able to be calmed using a little bit of his favourite show and his teddy and thankfully we made it to the hospital without further hiccups, although I was told if he had not had the dose of steroids – we could have been looking at a different scene. Thankfully after some medication and observation we were sent home with a referral to a children’s hospital allergy clinic sent off and strict instructions to keep him far away from cashews and any other NEW foods that could trigger an allergy.
The premise behind this is that you have a small list of necessity items you can buy but otherwise you’re basically on a spending ban…. I really do, but to be honest, I feel like I spend a lot of money on unnecessary things – whether it be clothes, makeup or just random stuff and I thought this would be the best way to start culling down my spending to save money, because lets be real Of course we can’t actually go a whole 12 months without buying ANYTHING so there is a few things that are on the exceptions list, and we have made it a rule that we can REPLACE an item we use up/damage.
It tingles on your head – but after using this for a few months now, I have seen VAST improvements on how much hair I am losing, as well as the overall texture, thickness and fullness of my hair, and most importantly, no thinning of the hair along my hairline – Hallelujah! ! I have naturally wavy/curly hair that is thick and has ALOT of frizz, more so postpartum (because I swear the baby sucked the life out of my once lovely hair! ). This is amazing for those of you who don’t want to heat style your hair – like myself on a daily basis. These are my hair holy grails for my postpartum hairloss – like I said, I think this would work for not just postpartum hairloss, but even natural thinning also.
