You guys are always asking me for tips on how to build a perfectly chic wardrobe. So today, I wanted to talk about one of my favorite luxury retailers who can help you achieve that
Another coordinating outfit I simply cannot get enough of is a power suit and opting for one in a bright color takes it up a notch. If you want to rock something a little more feminine and casual than the pantsuit, short suit with heels can look absolutely stunning. Another way to like to get matchy-matchy this season, is by pairing a simple crop top with a pair of trousers in the same color. Whether it is an off-the-shoulder top paired with a flowy mid-length skirt or a tank with wide legged trousers, you know you will always look feminine and flirty.
Another thing I love to do is make the classic blazer outfit a little sexier and more feminine by wearing a sheer top or bralette underneath. It’s a great way to create balance where you’ll look incredibly chic but not too overdressed or casual. My choice of jeans usually involve a crop style and high waist. You can also add a pop of color by styling your next denim + blazer look with a bold red tee and statement earrings.
When the bust (chest area) of a blazer doesn’t fit right, it’s one of the more obvious things you will notice because it won’t look flattering. If you have smaller or narrower shoulders, but larger hips, try a more structured piece – or even shoulder pads that will complement your body shape. Shorter people actually look great in mid to short length blazers and high waisted pants, because it makes their legs look longer and body more balanced. I love longer blazers that fall slightly below the hips if I’m wearing a tapered or skinny trousers.
