If you’ve spent time in Downtown Denver, you’ve more than likely spotted the Kimpton Hotel Monaco located on 17th and Champa, with its familiar sign featuring two bellhop caricatures with luggage in hand. We decided to kick off our stay early, opting to drop off our bags with the Monaco Concierge while we enjoyed brunch at Panzano. While enjoying our cocktails, we called the concierge for Yoga Turndown Service – a new offering at Hotel Monaco, which preps the room for a yoga session, including a TV-guided yoga class, dimmed lighting, plus fruit-infused sparkling water to enjoy post-session. Before heading to bed, we went ahead an pre-ordered breakfast service, as we KNEW we couldn’t leave without enjoying brunch in bed!
We have LOVED The Real Dill pickles for some time now, but when they released their Bloody Mary Mix – be still our hearts! For our DIY Bloody Bar, we decided to keep it simple with ingredients, as The Real Dill bloody mix can easily stand alone! We included various flavors of The Real Dill pickles, along with celery and jalapeño peppers for those craving some extra spice! Our spread was perfect to kick things off for opening day, and we couldn’t believe how easy it was to put our DIY brunch together!

Skip to content 2017 is winding down, and with New Year’s Eve just days away, it has us waxing nostalgia on the past year. If you didn’t make it to the Favorite Things Brunch last year – do NOT miss it this year. We will be reflecting back on this brunch for months to come – until next year’s event! I’m not sure if it’s the rustic decor of The Nickel or the comforting warm that comes with a White Russian, but we LOVE to visit The Nickel around the holidays.
