A Weekend in Death Valley

Nonetheless, there was a nice working bathroom and two sites right next to each other, so we really couldn’t complain. While we only stayed for a quick one night and two days, we got to explore a lot of different areas in Death Valley as well as pick up some great tips. Here are a few that we learned: The first thing we did when we arrived was go straight to the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. You can buy your park pass there ($30 for the week) as well as get information on the campgrounds that still have open sites and ask any questions you have about exploring the sights of Death Valley.

Spring Wildflower Visual Diary

The spring blooms across Southern California are happening right now, and our Instagram is flooding with the vibrant super bloom of flowers. People are flocking to Lake Elsinore and the Carlsbad Flower Fields to see the beautiful California poppy and ranunculus flowers. Unfortunately, we didn’t plan enough and were unable to make it to the flower fields. Nonetheless, we were still determined to at least find a park that has wildflowers so we decided to visit the Ralph B. Clark Regional Park in Buena Park and where we were welcomed with a stunning array of yellow wildflowers.

The Darling Adventurers

We can’t believe it’s already going to be April (aka Elizabeth’s birthday month woohoo! ! ! ) While we were looking back at what we did in March, we realized we actually got to spend a decent amount of time together just hanging out. It was definitely a nice change of pace to get to have some fun without worrying too much about “working” or having “blog meetings… While this past month had some very low points of overwhelming stress and business, it was great to be able to squeeze in some days of self-care and fun!

The Top Boba Places in Orange County

The funny thing is, nothing about 7 Leaves is super unique or stands out to us but for some reason we love it (and it’s not because Ann worked there for a year). Plus, since their drinks are all pre-brewed, you can truly taste the quality of tea and the service is always really quick. They even have drive-thrus at a handful of their locations. So, if you’re the type of person who likes to order their drinks with no sugar, this place probably isn’t for you.
