When Disney’s Blizzard Beach originally opened on April 1, 1995, it was the third and final Disney World Water Park.
According to the “legend” of the park, after a freak snowstorm hit the Orlando area in the 1970s, a ski resort was built; as the snow melted away, we were left with a melted mess that became a water park.
Between temperature checks, face masks, limited capacity, and social distancing, going to Disney World during Covid truly feels safer than going to a grocery store.
There will be temperature checks before entering the water park, limited capacity inside the water park, and social distancing markers on the ground.
