This article will build off the SD-WAN overview and dig deeper into Secure Access Service Edge, or SASE (pronounced sassy). None Secure Web Gateway (SWG): a cloud-based web proxy or secure web gateway provides malware detection, file sandboxing, dynamic threat intelligence, SSL decryption, and app/content filtering along with Data Loss Prevention (DLP). None Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB): a software to control and secure access to cloud-based or Software as a Service applications. None Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA): my personal favorite, the security framework focused on the “never trust, always verify” security approach.
