Teen Girls Create Apps To Tackle Gender Violence, Clean Water Access In India Slum

Exciting! Dharavi Diary, started by filmmaker Nawneet Ranjan, teaches girls in Mumbai’s Dharavi slum how to code. The girls then develop apps that address issues their families and neighbors face, such as violence against women or access to clean water. Amazing work by teenage girls without any so called degrees that to solve community problems in slum areas, kudos!
