It’s 2019 and in terms of curating your closet, your options are endless. As I’ve previously articulated, style is different than fashion
Why shop vintage? There’s so many reasons to look to the past – sustainability, style. If you follow me on Instagram, you know a lot of the items I wear, I’ve snagged from thrift shop, vintage stores, and antique malls
Although I’m happy to be back in lecture halls, taking notes in tandem with a new found routine, I’m still struggling after 6 months to adjust to this whole “learning-after-working” thing. Don’t get me wrong, graduate school demands a lot of my time as well. On top of it all, I’m running a brand in my free time. When I’m not looking at my phone, I’m on my computer reading papers, protocols, or re-listening to a lecture.
Since we’re in-between New Years and Spring Cleaning, I felt obligated to share all these responses with you because 1) many of you are seemingly looking to turn over your closet 2) and give to local, Baltimore organizations that can directly benefit from donated pieces. Paul’s Place accepts both men’s and women’s clothes (gently used and IN SEASON), as well as home goods and other household necessities such as towels, blankets, dishes, pots, pans. In addition, the organization encourages donations of: * New Men, Women, and Children socks, underwear (all sizes) Students Helping Honduras has local chapters all over the country aimed to empower youth and help end the poverty cycle in Honduras. Donations of clothing, purses, furniture, and household items go directly to clients, supporting the organization’s mission to equip clients’ new homes and lives.
