I’m so excited to share today’s bathroom makeover with you. I’ve been dreaming of improving this space for a very long time and kept waiting for a time when I could gut the space
and I want to share my findings and tips with you today about how I choose artificial house plants that look realistic for my home decor. There is definitely an increased trend for faux plants in home decor and the look of them has drastically changed for the better. Compare the overall look of the artificial house plant to a photo of the real plant. I just bought the below faux caladium (HERE) and faux variegated mirror plant (HERE), faux pothos plant (HERE) and faux coleus plant (HERE )not shown in photo but will be coming soon.
I am a little connfused as to write wall moulding or wall molding but since all the big home imrpovement stores call it wall moulding, I decided to write it their way How to install wall moulding the easy way I originally wanted to add picture frame moulding divided by a chair rail but since my kitchen counter starts ar the right of the room, I thought it would be just too much. Here is a sneak peek at the moulding in my upcoming bathroom makeover: • moulding of your choice ( I used this one HERE) • final coats of paint ( I used Ultra White by Valspar) • miter box and saw HERE (electric or miter box and saw HERE) • nail gun with nails and I have this one HERE (or drill, drill bit, hammer, nail set HERE, and finishing nails and the size is usually recommended on the label for your specific moulding) Oh, and little Walter is helping me in the video too. Also if you really don’t feel like nailing trim to your walls the way I did then you could also consider adding a wallpaper that looks like picture frame moulding: Or add prefabriccated panels but neither give you the freedom to space them out the way you want for your specific space: I can’t wait to show you how the same type of moulding looks in my bathroom but first, we will be working on replacing our flooring in our dining room, kitchen, living room, and powder room this week.
Since salt is known to absorb water molecules many believe that salt lamps absorb water in the air. So when that water hits the salt, the particles are trapped in the salt lamp before the water re-evaporates back into the air. It is believed that the Himalayan Salt lamps’ negative ion production helps neutralize electronic radiation throughout our home to benefit our overall immune system and health.
