It’s been fantastic to find brands who support their makers and are kinder to the planet and I’m delighted to be working with Nomads clothing on a few dress reviews over the coming weeks. I opted for this dress as I know it’s one I will wear a lot. It’s a great style for a busy mum like me, as it’s comfortable, pretty and practical. I absolutely love the length of the dress, I’m 5’6″ and it sits perfectly on the knee on me.
The event took place at Moonpig’s gorgeous offices in London and included activities such as cocktail making, flower arranging, afternoon tea and a Photo Booth to make our own mothers day cards. I’m a little late getting this post up as it’s been a difficult couple of weeks for us as a family, but I hope this will give you some inspiration to celebrate. We got a chance to have a look at some of the lovely gifts, cards and flowers that Moonpig are offering for Mothers Day and there were so many fab ideas. We then got to see a presentation about Moonpig and Mothers Day and the unveiling of their Mother’s Day advert, which was absolutely lovely.
I absolutely love writing this blog and what makes it special is all the lovely readers, who always support everything I do. As well as sharing my favourite outfits, things to do and little life updates on here, I am also going to be sending out a monthly newsletter. It will feature lots of exclusive content, pictures and updates and will just be a little extra on top of the blog. If you like what I do here, you can add yourself to my mailing list and get my monthly update delivered straight to your inbox.
They asked me to choose something from their newest range of dresses and although there were several that really caught my eye, the stunning Matilda Floral dress was definitely the one for me. There are certain products that I have always tried to buy fair trade, I always look for fair trade labels on coffee, tea, bananas and chocolate, so the fact that the dress is also fair trade has made me very happy. This dress was made by creative Handicrafts, a fair-trade organisation which helps low income women achieve economic independence by training and creating jobs. The dress is very easy to wash and take care of, perfect for a busy mum who is always doing laundry like me.
