Easy going wedding, portrait and family photographer located in Key West, Florida.
Myself and Mike from Freas Photography travelled to Puerto Rico in November 2018 to attend my first ever Fearless Photographers Conference. We soaked up lots of knowledge, ate lots of lechón and black beans, drove on crazy highways with crazy traffic, were asked by local drug dealers to delete photo of them I accidentally took while photographing the street, met some rockstar photographers, but most of all walked miles downtown San Juan and took photos of pretty much everything. I always thought of Fearless as those snobby white collar photographers who travel to these fancy destinations to shoot those glamorous weddings who look down on people like myself, but I was sooo wrong. I met lots of super cool people, made some friends but most of all witnessed their enthusiasm and passion for photography that we all have in common.
Two Key West photographers and one girl traveled for a weekend wedding to Orlando but extended it by few extra days to breathe some fresh outdoorsy CFL chilly air (yes, it was 54°F the morning we left). Of course I had to bring my little silver Fuji to take some photos to share and of course I ended up taking more photos with my cellphone. Outdoors, nature, trees and the silent beauty of the far-reaching acres of green, brown and yellow landscape. Still had to visit KSC (where our groom works! ) and downtown Orlando, but the scenery of countryside is where I felt at home.
But before you do, you should book a vacation in Key West, Florida, find yourself an awesome Florida Keys photographer, and you should let him take photos of you. So you can show your friends and families, or put them as a wallpaper on your computer’s desktop or phone, put couple in your wallet, or even better – hang them in your bedroom. Let’s get all dolled up and pretty, let’s dig your best outfit out of that suitcase and find another one, just in case, but more importantly – let’s forget about being photographed and let’s have fun. I’m not there to tell you how to grab and hug your favorite person, but to take photos of you being a bit awkward, smiling and bursting out in a laughter, whispering and tickling, piggy back riding, kicking the sand and the water and enjoying time with each other…
