Goodbye 2020. Hello 2021 2020 was such a blessing in so many way for my family and myself and each year it just gets better. ✨ As with every year, there’s highs and lows, here’s some quick lessons : 1. You cannot control everything , but you can submit to the author of time. 2. Don’t share your business with everyone. Move quietly. Post the selfie & encouraging quote. 3. Not Everyone is your friend or on your side . When God shows you people’s hearts, believe Him. 4. With influence comes hate. 5. The party is in me not “over there.” I don’t ever have to compare my life to anybody else’s. 6. I’m exactly where God wants me to be. 7. Forgiveness is for me. 8. There’s so much beauty on the other side of obedience. 9. Your joy can trigger someone’s unhappiness and it’s not your fault. 10. Masterpiece Have you ever created anything that you were so proud of in the end? Like a song, or a performance, or a piece of art? Or if you aren’t creative, have you ever put together a stellar athletic performance, or aced a test, or given a presentation that just killed? That feeling of accomplishment. That feeling of taking pride in your hard work paying off. That is what Paul (the author of this book) is saying that God felt when he created us. “Handiwork” could be translated piece of art, or masterpiece. We are his masterpiece. He spared no expense. He gave it his all. He poured his effort, his love, his creativity, his life into making us. Into making you. You are the pinnacle of his expertise. Isn’t that amazing? And it says he created us to do good works that he has planned in advance for us. So, catch this, not only are you God’s masterpiece, someone that he is so proud of, but you have a destiny in him! He has created a plan just for you! You are so valuable! It’s amazing isn’t it? The Creator of the Universe did his best work in making you, and he has a plan for you to change the world around you with good works. Now that’s a great Bible verse. I hope you feel a little more special today. I hope you sense the greatness that is within you. The sheer life-changing, world-shaping potential that resides inside of you. It’s there.
