Most Anticipated Reads of 2018

It’s been kind of bare here, so I thought I’d do a post on our most anticipated 2018 books! These books are really only ones that come out in the first half of 2018, since there are so many more that’ll come out in the fall; we’ll save those for another post! (Click on titles to go to their respective Goodreads pages). There are so many more books we’re excited for–AMERICAN PANDA, THE BURNING MAZE, EVERLESS, LEAH ON THE OFFBEAT, FROM TWINKLE, WITH LOVE and A COURT OF MIRACLES (which Sasha already read & loved! ).

October Wrap-Up [2017]

The Scream of the Haunted Mask (5/5 stars) Are You Sleeping by Kathleen Baker (4.5/5) She also read some of Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao! We Definitely check it out if you like thrillers 🙂 Check out our month via IG photos: Plus our October book haul (except we forgot one book … oops! A Shadow Bright and Burning) Hope you all had a great month!

September Wrap-Up

Before Labour Day, we visited NYC and met up with our agent and visited some awesome bookish friends (Patrice Caldwell and Sona Charaipotra). The following week, school began and we had joined Chapters Vega for their Teen Takeover event, where we signed copies of our books! The following day, we attended the HCCFrenzy Preview event in Toronto and met Angie Thomas, Becky Albertalli, and Julie Murphy. Later that month, we attended the Toronto Word on the Street Book Festival and met Lesley Livingston, Kristen Ciccarelli (pic below), and Elly Blake:

Frenzy Presents Fall 2017 Recap

This post is a little late, but on September 10, 2017, we attended HarperCollins Canada’s YA book preview (#FrenzyPresents) in Toronto. This is the 3rd time we’ve attended a preview at HCC, and this one was definitely the best yet. Here are the books they discussed that we’re most excited about: –This Darkness Mine by Mindy McGinnis (about a girl named Sasha who absorbed her twin in the womb … lol. Last but not least, three AMAZING authors (Becky Albertalli, Julie Murphy, and Angie Thomas) were in town for a Canadian tour and were at the HCC offices to sign books for all the awesome bloggers/booktubers who came out to the event! !
