If you’d like to follow along on where I am the best way is Instagram: If you’d like to get in touch, my RoastedMontreal email address has been completely deleted. The best way to contact me is through the contact form on my photography website. I fill it with stuff you’ll actually want to read like how to take better photos of your kids, etc.
It’s unreal to think of a blog as a way to make friends in real life It’s no longer about sleep or tired nights but about who they are as people and I’d like to keep that private. That balance has been lacking the last few years and I feel like I’m finally starting to regain a sense of self. If you’d like to get in touch please contact me through my photography contact page.
Near the parking lot through a covered bridge is The Enchanted Forest – a play area with places for both big and little kids to play. The bouldering area (without harness) is $16 and the climbing area (with harness) is $31 (as at June 2018). There’s also Bingham Falls which looks great and also sorts of hiking access points between Smugglers Notch and Stowe to explore. The drive between Smugglers Notch and Stowe is pretty crazy and I wouldn’t recommend doing it in the dark or poor weather.
If you’re looking for a fun, simple craft I suggest this Rainbow Toast which came from an issue of Chirp Magazine (which I highly recommend subscribing to). all you do is add some food colouring to milk (or you can use juice or whatever as long as it colours the milk) and paint it on the toast. I used paintbrushes I bought at Ikea to make sure there was no actual paint on them. Paint the bread and then toast the bread so it’s not soggy anymore.
