For example, when I took a self- guided trek to Gudibande Hill Fort in Chikkaballapur District of Karnataka which has got a Lord Shiva temple and a ruined fort wall. Gudibande hill fort coupled with Sabbanahalli lake is a perfect getaway for one day road trip from Bangalore in under 100 kms. To reach Gudibande hill fort and lake we started our journey from Bangalore at 7:30 A. M. in the morning and it took approximately 3 hours to reach here. On your way to Gudibande hill fort, you are going to spot few beautiful lakes including Sabbanahalli lake where we took a short break for lunch and obviously soaking up its beauty too.
Not to mention, that one of the best things about this land of three seas is that majorly every tourist place here is within the vicinity of 2 kilometers and easily walkable if you take an accommodation close to the main market area Sunrise at Kanyakumari Beach: It is said that one of the best sunrises of India can be seen at Kanyakumari and true to the words, I would want to call it magical though we got a glimpse of sunrise for just 5 minutes. The temple gets open at 5:30 AM till 12 PM and reopens at 4 PM Vivekananda Rock Memorial: A 10 minutes ferry ride will take you to Vivekananda rock Memorial, which is built on the shoreline of Kanyakumari Beach. Kanyakumari is also famous for its Padmanabhapuram Palace but we didn’t get to see the place as it was close View Tower: An absolutely thrilling place according me to enjoy the panoramic view of Kanyakumari city. I think if someone really want to experience the beauty of southern India beaches, I think Kanyakumari, the southern tip of India is the place where everyone should come to experience how beautiful India is.
Chitharal Bhagwati Hindu Temple, famous as the rock cut Jain monument in Kanyakumari district is a renowned Jain and Hindu site. Here in this blog, I am going to take you through the complete history of Chitharal Jain Rock cut Temple of Kanyakumari, also known as the Bhagwathi Hindu Temple Why Chitharal is both a Jain and Hindu Site Though popularly known as the Jain rock cut temple, Chitharal is also sometimes referred as Bhagwathi Hindu temple. The rock cut images of the tirthankaras are believed to be carved during the 9th century by the Digambar section in Jainism when the region was heavily under the influence of the religion, mainly inspired by their then king Mahendra Varman, who made majority of rock cut monuments during his reign in southern India.
But good things does take its own time sometimes to come into your life because I was planning to complete the ten days of Goenka Vipassana meditation course for four years, before I could actually go for it and experience it myself from the Gorai VIPASSANA executive center in Mumbai in April 2019. What took me Four Years to go for 10 Days of Goenka Vipassana meditation course With the rise of Social media, Vipassana meditation technique has got reasonable attention It was during the course, that my yoga teacher suggested me to attend the ten days of Goenka Vipassana meditation course, as he shared that it is Vipassana technique which helped him heal as well. This is compulsive because these things actually are a distraction for the brain in the outer world and it is important to give them up before we enter Vipassana because it works inwards My honest experience of completing ten days of Goenka Vipassana meditation course Clarity in Thoughts: You know I would be a person who would want to do a lot in her life which often would leave me with thousands of thoughts at the same time.
