I strongly believe that mothers need to actively work to improve father empowerment by ensuring dads participate very early in their children’s lives. This tends to be true whether we are a stay at home mom, work at home mom or work outside of the home mom. Father empowerment to learn how to care for sick kids should be a requirement for minor illnesses; therefore, when more serious problems occur, dad will be ready to help. If mom goes away for a girls weekend or has to work late, dad should know how to provide basic care for the kids.
I do not have the experience of pediatricians and family physicians, who have incredible stories to share, but in my humble opinion, I believe that vaccines work. I was shocked to see the large percentage of people who feel they know as much as scientists and physicians about vaccines and their complications. Although this vaccine has been wonderful to prevent pneumonia and meningitis, as an ENT physician, I have noted a HUGE reduction in the number of ear infections and ear infection complications. This vaccine has been widely known as the “anti-cancer” vaccine because it has been associated with cervical cancer in women and oral cancer in men.
However, in case you feel inclined to share my work with others, I want everyone to know how to find me, download episodes and support me. So without further ado, I am sharing the steps to search and have a successful podcast download and easy listening experience. Most people use one of a variety of podcast listening apps (players) so that you can search, download and subscribe to episodes and have them ready to enjoy while you are on the go. Overcast is the App my Podcast Professional daughter uses because it allows her to speed up the rate of the podcast so she can power through more!
Although you may not agree with a recommendation from your personal physician, I do not think your final decision should be based on opinions from only non-medical sources. Each of us has the right to choose the healthcare options that we want, just like we choose the parenting practices we want. Just like you need to know the background and training of a social media physician, you should always ask for the credentials of any real-life doctor or physician who is treating you. Because I was in this situation 2 years ago, trying to connect with a large variety of mommy bloggers, I know many people have no idea how to connect and follow active social media physicians.
