This was a trip of many “firsts” for me: first time roadtripping in an RV, first time “boondocking”, first time seeing landscape that looked like from another planet, first time I saw the pink super moon, first time travelling on a brink of an epidemic burst out (the coronavirus was slowly making its way to the USA 🙈). However, I recommend that you do not head there straight away, but instead, work your way from the overlooks along the way: the Tunnel, Tsegi, Junction, White House, Sliding House, Face Rock and then the 7th one will be Spider Rock Overlook. After another night of boondocking (again on Navajo nation land), we were in for a treat at the Gouldings campground, located right outside of the National Park. The next day some more interesting sites in New Mexico were waiting for us, like: El Morro National Monument, Santa Fe and White Sands National Monument.

So yes, this is about a leisurely spent weekend in Vienna and it puts a lot of accent on the city’s coffee culture. I will start with what you can see in a weekend in Vienna (in no particular order) and at the end I will add some recommended coffee houses in the city. But what you should know from the beginning is that Vienna coffee houses are not just beautiful places to have coffee. This is much more than a coffee house: there is a cake shop on the ground floor, a bar/cafe on the first floor and another cafe/restaurant on the second floor.

I went there for the first time 2 years ago and like every popular attraction, I found it changed now. For example, my picture of the Clay Castle from 2 years ago is still my most popular picture on Instagram and it continues to be featured a lot, even 2 years later. We spend 2 nights in Viseul de Sus and 2 nights in Breb, as we wanted to see different parts of the county without having to drive too long back and forth.
