Today’s post takes place in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, with cobbled streets and dingy stone backdrops… but hey, girls gotta do what a girls gotta do to get the best ice cream in Barcelona (more on this very soon). The greatest thing of all is that it’s a classic, it will never go out of style; it’s a piece I can keep in my wardrobe and rework constantly. I wore my slip on birkenstocks from River Island to tie all the colours together and to be comfortable on all the cobbled streets (I’m already clumsy enough as it is so best to avoid any trips on the cobbles! )

The only new addition in this outfit is the top which just shows you really can make your wardrobe work for you; don’t be afraid to dig out all the old and make it new! The top was super comfortable and fell like a dream on me – the cold shoulder straps didn’t fall down and the fit was so loose that I could eat anything and everything all while feeling comfortable. they’re elasticated, soft to the touch and they’re short shorts without the risk of showing too much! These shoes are my favourite, they’re from Primark and they’re also from my sisters wardrobe from 5 years ago
