Your MIND is incredibly powerful.ā š§ ā When I had colon surgery & was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2010, my doctor told me that my symptoms wouldn't return for 10 years. Just the subtle hint that they would return no matter what I did was enough for my brain to feed on the negativity of my digestive health.ā ā After many tests & doctors visits, I decided to focus on my mental health, thinking and feeling positive about my body.ā ā Stress increases Crohn's symptoms and limiting my stress was also a powerful tool for health.ā ā My 10 year anniversary from surgery was last month and passing that "time" when I was told things would return was a powerful moment for my mental health. I cannot say enough for the power of comments and moments that get embedded in your mind and if you let them, take hold of your health and life.ā ā Don't let negative thoughts ruffle your feathers or control your outcomes in life. #mindsetmattersā ā š·#changeNfocusā šSt Marks National Wildlife Refuge, Florida
