I'm a freelance fashion stylist, lifestyle blogger, and tv host based in Charleston, SC. My background in styling encompasses photo and film productions, red carpet dressing, personal styling, and closet editing. My lifestyle blog Charleston Shop Curator features both local and national brands with professional imagery and a journalistic take on fashion. My fashion career began in the early 90’s in Miami where I interned at MTV Latino in the Wardrobe Department and then at Harper’s Bazaar Magazine in New York. I've worked on high profile photo shoots for Jennifer Lopez, the cast of Sex and the City, Prince, Janet Jackson, Cindy Crawford, Christy Brinkley, Claudia Schiffer, The Rock, Victoria’s Secret, Gap, Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s. Gradually I developed my own clientele including Maybelline, L’oreal, Nautica, Getty Images, Maxim Magazine, Sony, Elektra, and J Records. In my blog Charleston Shop Curator I showcase the diverse shopping in Charleston by mixing it up with personal style posts and features on local designers and stores as well as features on national brands. I have expanded my career by parlaying into tv hosting, personal shopping, and journalism. In March of 2016 I started hosting a monthly segment on Lowcountry Live called Fashion Fridays. Giving back is a part of my mission as I advocate, raise funds, and volunteer for Be a Mentor, The American Lung Association, Make a Wish Foundation, Lowcountry Orphan Relief, and the American Heart Association.

I’ve been an entrepreneur through the toughest times in our recent history - a freelance Wardrobe Stylist in NYC during 9/11, boutique owner in Charleston during the recession of 2008, and now Stylist, Blogger, and TV Host during the most challenging time we’ve had to face yet. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Faith, tenacity, grit, and an incredible network has always kept me going. I'm so grateful to live in a city where there is such a strong support of entrepreneurship. I applaud all of the entrepreneurs who’ve started businesses during COVID-19. So many boutiques, restaurants, and brands have been born in these past 10 months. I’ve been watching the Made in America docu-series by @godaddy and the stories are so inspiring.
