Wheeeeew chile! I don’t think I was prepared for today. I convinced myself to stop thinking about this being my first Father’s Day without my father, I went to church and the service was amazing and then they called up the fathers to pray a prayer of blessing over them, I instantly felt broken in so many ways. God also reminded me that moment my earthly father did an amazing job at showing me the importance of knowing my heavenly father, that means there will never be a day where my needs will not be provided for. Last year on my birthday, my dad left me the sweetest voicemail. When I got it, I didn’t listen to the whole thing, I just called him back and talked to him. After he passed, I just really wanted to hear his voice, I went searching if I had any voicemail from him, I completely forgot he sent this… This is a keepsake. It truly does mean the world to me to have this. God knew my first birthday without him would be hard, he made provision for me to have comfort. #hello35 #birthdaygirl
