What does this photo have to do with entrepreneurship?⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ I found this hidden cave along the Soldier's Pass Trail in Sedona, Arizona thanks to some helpful guides in found online from other hikers.⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Without the input from those who were successful, I would have wandered in the desert exerting so much time and energy looking for this cave. ⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Heck, even with this information, I still had to ask some hikers along the trail if we were still on the right path. 🤦🏽‍♀️⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ This same method is how I started my online business. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿?⁣ ⁣ Depression can get dark. ⁣ ⁣ This illness can leave you numb and hopeless. ⁣ ⁣ For years my world looked bleak, grey, dim. ⁣ ⁣ Until I finally decided to take back control of my life. 💪🏽⁣ ⁣ Most days I need to remind myself to choose joy. ⁣ ⁣ To help myself make this choice, I decided to make the things around me joyful. ⁣ ⁣ And for me, that meant infusing my life with color. 🌈⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ So why the name 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘳? ⁣ ⁣ I’m a woman of color, in color, sharing the chronicles of my mental health journey and interest in travel. ⁣ ⁣ Plus, who doesn’t love a good alliteration? 😉⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ How do you remind yourself to #choosejoy ?⁣

The WORKS: oil check, fluids topped off, tires balanced and rotated, tire tread check, brake pad inspection, new wipers. ⁣⁠ ⁠⁣⁠ 🚗⁠ Emergency kit with spare tire or fix-a-flat canister, jumper cables, flashlight, first aid kit, tire pressure gague. Always err on the side of caution and keep a small kit in the trunk.⁣⁠ ⁠⁣⁠ 🚙⁠ Plenty of snacks and water. Did you see my reel about the ice-less cooler.
