You take a job as a busser one day to pay rent and one shift you run food and then the next few weeks you server your first table, after a bartender calls out you help out behind the bar making drinks, you educate yourself and a passion for food and cocktails develops, before you know it you are running programs in places where you felt nervous entering before because you felt you didn’t fit the ‘demographic’. You choose idols in your industry, people who push the realm of possibly with ease and finesse. They educate, they influence, they set a bar that makes you want to strive for more. You FINALLY get a chance to meet this person and they are EXACTLY how’d you’d expect them to be sharp, funny, and poise.
