IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE A 100% BIO-RESPONSIBLE COFFEE?
That’s the question we asked ourselves here at Coffeeine when we were developing our project. We wanted to bring you a coffee that upon waking up made you feel alive and eager to explore the world; but at the same time we realized that it would not do any good to do all this if on our way we were contributing to the contamination of that same world that we want to travel.
"And since the impossible is our specialty, we took on the task of finding a way to reduce the impact that our coffee can have on the ecosystem"
To do this, we immersed ourselves in a relentless search of techniques and methods to make that dream possible (all of them unsuccessful) until one day without wanting to, as we read about the history of coffee and how it had arrived in America, we found the answer to that question:
“IN BOATS DRIVEN BY THE FORCE OF THE WIND”
We are going to bring you your dose of Coffeeine working together with Mother Nature and using the wind that sails the sea to travel that distance in the purest form possible. This journey will take a little more time than the traditional way, but let’s be honest; coffee doesn’t grow in two days nor does it grow in a month. It takes three long years from planting it to the first harvest to enjoy it; so waiting a few more days will not take away the sleep (on the contrary, it’s the coffee that will do that). We are currently in the final phase of coffee producing farm selection and developing with the producers a plan of direct impact that this adventure will have in their daily life. Because our thing is to live in the present, always worrying about the future, and taking from the past the best that it has left us.
