Tell me one thing you liked about 2020! ⁣ ⁣ ————⁣ ⁣ [ad] I’m not sure whether I’m dancing here because: ⁣ - (unpopular opinion) I actually sorta liked 2020 and had a lot of wins ⁣ - or that the year is finally coming to a close ⁣ ⁣ Either way what I have missed most about travel is....EVERYTHING! ⁣ ⁣ Prague here for example.⁣ ⁣ The city is popular for its beer gardens and stag parties but there’s a lot more happening!⁣ - The food here is an eclectic mix of traditional and innovative ⁣ - The architecture here has historical stories to go with it yet there’s quirky installations all around the city ⁣ - The street art scene here is beautiful as well as are the castles! ⁣ ⁣ I’ve put together a list of places and monuments you can #CzechIn2021 in the beautiful city of Prague, ones that include items like:⁣ - a man sitting on an upside down horse⁣ - giant babies⁣ - a man hanging from a pole in the middle of the street!⁣ ⁣ Some are the work of renowned sculptor creator David Cerny, yet all have a story to tell.⁣ ⁣ The whole list has been live on the website for a week. Did you get to travel at all this year? ⁣ ⁣ ———⁣ ⁣ The only trip I took this year, albeit very hesitantly was to the Cotswolds!⁣ ⁣ Only when I stepped outside my house did I realise how much I needed to! ⁣ ⁣ And while it was still quite busy, it was the recreational therapy I required to keep me going the next few months.⁣ ⁣ Unlike many, this year so far (we still have 15 days to go) has been amazing for me ⁣ ⁣ It didn’t have the usual dose of travel or authentic world food peppered during the duration but I still got to take a journey ⁣ ⁣ And while it may sound cheesy and sentimental to some it was one that was needed too for growth. ⁣ I had to look at how I could be happy with my own company and what I could do to stay happy with the least amount of interaction⁣ ⁣ I’m heartbroken for what many have had to go through this year but I’m glad this year has made us realise that we need to take a better look at our priorities! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #cotswoldliving #thecotswolds #discovercotswolds #englandtravel #villagelifestyle

TELL ME: What’s one place you’d like to visit when you can? ⁣ ⁣ ~~⁣ ⁣ Thinking of a time years ago when I visited Seoul in South Korea, a place that’s advanced and ancient and will always keep you yearning for more!⁣ ⁣ ~~⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Seoul is one place that’s heartwarming! Full of history, jovial and colourful people and scrumptious food! ⁣ ⁣ It’s got 5 grand and ancient palaces like the one in the picture; Gyeongbokgung Palace (also called Gyeongbok Palace) which was the main palace of the Joseon dynasty and is full of gates and beautiful architecture. ⁣ ⁣ And while images like these bring back good memories it’s the feeling a place brings that makes you want to visit it more! ⁣ Evenings full of meals like Bibimbap, a big bowl of Dak Galbi shared with friends along with some soju and then heading to Itaewon to get a taste of the nightlife are some memories I’d love to create first!⁣ ⁣ Visiting in winter is perfect as you’ll get to see the Winter lights festival too during Xmas time (scroll to see what I mean) and it would be the perfect reason to #SeeKoreaNext when it’s safe to do so! 🤞🏽⁣ ⁣ I’m comfy in my couch currently but it’ll sure be nice to travel when we can! LET’S TALK ABOUT: Content creators and Covid ⁣ ⁣ ~~⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Reminiscing about my first and only trip this year which I was skeptical about....⁣ Little did I know it would be the only one this year outside the UK! ⁣ ⁣ ~~⁣ ⁣ After countless Zoom calls (who knew getting burnout due to zoom calls could be a thing) it was clear that the best way forward for creators was to keep a ear to the ground to check which countries were being innovative about travel, how the situation was being handled and which were opening doors to visitors. ⁣ ⁣ How did that translate for us creators? ⁣ Did we have to stop or pause all we’d been doing? ⁣ Absolutely not! ⁣ ⁣ It did however mean focusing on local sites, coming up with innovative ways to work and network and I for sure have LOVED how most of us have broken free of what we thought we should be doing and just going ahead and doing what brings us joy. ⁣ ⁣ Some of us have hustled more than we ever have and the results are beautiful! ⁣ ⁣ What about others just looking to start? TELL ME : How many days do you get off work if you work 9-5? ⁣ ⁣ ~~⁣ ⁣ Thinking back to one of my most memorable holidays more than 10 years ago!⁣ ⁣ ~~⁣ ⁣ A decade ago when I’d just started my career, taking holidays was taboo.⁣ ⁣ We’d get about 21 days leave (including sick days) and the more holidays you took the less professional you were considered.⁣ ⁣ I remember taking one holiday a year and looking forward to it for the next one for 11 months after I was back! ⁣ ⁣ Fast forward to now, I had burn out due to travel last year. TELL ME : Do you know how much you’re capable of and what you can do?⁣ And Happy Juneteenth to my Black friends! ⁣ ~~⁣⁣ ⁣ Trying to balance myself on the tracks of a train that runs outside people’s houses in Hà Nội ⁣ ⁣⁣ ~~⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It’s been more than a year we went hopping around Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos⁣ ⁣ It was fun, relaxing, the food was great but above all it felt like home ⁣ We blended among the locals, loved the banter and the noise of traffic and dodging amongst the vehicles.⁣ ⁣ Little did I know at that time of the year that was in store for me. Discover what to do on the stunning island of Mauritius Mauritius may seem like a small island to many but this country packs a punch when it comes to amazing national parks with breathtaking views, pristine white beaches and a fab mix of cultures to experience when it comes to the food! The unique mix of Indian, Creole, African and European influences make the dishes here outstanding, tasty yet not spicy. You can always adjust the spiciness to your liking but adding a range of chutneys and chili pastes available here as well! The locals are friendly, welcoming and eager to show you around. It is one of the best locations to visit if you're a tea-lover as there's acres and acres of tea estates and colonial houses to explore! While the main island may seem small and can be traversed from end-to-end in about 3 hours, there's a lot you can do here.
