We're a married couple in our 30's who quit our jobs to travel the world. After living out of our backpacks for a year we've returned home to England and still travel regularly. We now have a dog and have taken up photography as a hobby.

But on 1st January 2015 we set off with nothing but two backpacks, two economy tickets to Thailand and a dream to be financially independent to the extent that we could live anywhere in the world without “working for the man” by the year end. We were also alarmed to see that the housing market in our home town, and in fact the entire country, had gone nuts in the time we had been away and that if we weren’t careful, we could end up being out-priced in our own town and potentially unable to return to the area that we love later on. We love the security of having an investment that will always be waiting for us and the comfort of knowing that even when we’re on the other side of the World, we always have a home to come back too – one that we love! If 2015 was all about throwing ourselves into the nomadic life, 2016 will be seeking to find a balance between our lives as digital nomads on the road and our days as just Glen and Claire at home surrounded by our amazing family and friends.
