Now, I’m the first to admit that I do not have the best “green thumb” and most plants that I try to grow end up dying. Ray and I decided that we wanted to try to grow tomatoes, peppers, spinach, green beans and cucumbers. After we got all that done Ray and I took the wagon down the street to the little farm market and picked out our plants and seeds. We got tomato plants and red pepper plants that had already started to grow.

I never really gave it much thought before I became a mom and never realized that this is something that a lot of other mom’s have to deal with as well. It seems that the reoccurring theme in a lot of these groups is that there are a lot of women just like me who find it difficult to make other mom friends. One of the scariest parts about trying to find “mom friends” is that not only do you become friends in real life but also online. Other things that you can do is try to find mom groups in your area where you can take the kids and still meet some other women.
