I’ve teamed up with Simply Earth, a company dedicated to helping you create natural recipes, to break down essential oils & why they’re so good for you! Because they’re concentrated plant extracts, they maintain the natural smell and and flavor of the plant they’re taken from. The box I got to try included recipes for all natural makeup–eye shadow, tinted lip gloss, cheek tint & more! If you’re a beginner to essential oils (like me! ) or have been using them for a while & looking for more natural options, Simply Earth makes it super easy.
I’m not sure how you feel about 2018, 2019 or New Years in general, but I can say that I don’t particularly care for New Years Eve. Most of the time, I can’t 100% clear my thoughts, but meditating (with the help of some great apps) helps me BREATHE, which then helps me calm my thoughts and ease my mind. One of the bloggers I follow posted on her Instastory that she’s not going to do New Years resolutions, but instead set an intention (a single word/phrase) to guide her new year. Think of it as a more subtle “New Year, New Me” thing ;) &.
If you’re looking for a low-key brunch in a cute part of the city, Twisted Tail is for you. If you’re in the mood for a cozy, comfort brunch, it’s the perfect spot. , I had one mimosa) but they do have the brunch basics (mimosas, bloody’s, etc.) plus a whole menu of specialty cocktails(Kool Kat & Pumpkin Spice Old Fashioned sound lovely). The *: Atmosphere wise, Twisted Tail is definitely cute, but the layout is a little weird, and it’s a bit dark.
When you start listening to everyone’s opinions all the time, things get messy & noisy, and you can’t listen to your own gut/feelings (see point above). A lot of my high school/college friends are SUPER good about calling & catching up and it’s truly no offense to them, but most of the time I’m running around/too tired to talk on the phone. Although it’s not my first preference, every time I get off the phone with a friend whom I haven’t spoken to in a while, I feel all warm & fuzzy. I’m talking about faith in the sense that I need to have faith that everything’s going to work out.
