This shopping district has a bohemian vibe and an eclectic collection of shops that sell some of the more fun and unusual wares that Denver has to offer. Born of a once-grittier neighborhood, South Broadway has undergone a tremendous transformation over the last decade and the district is now a mix of old and new shops and restaurants, meaning you’ll find an old-school liquor store tucked in between hipster boutiques. Like so many shopping districts, we’ve had to say goodbye to a few favorites, like Hazel & Dewey, the kitchen and mercantile shop which I still miss, and Conservatrice, which relocated to downtown Littleton, and Lowbrow, which felt like the candy store of art supplies. This funky little shop sells a mix of vintage and handcrafted clothing and items by local and national makers.
