Last night I realized that many of the items we are using each night were either registry items or items that we’ve been loving for months, meaning they’d be perfect to give to others or recommend to someone who needs more registry items. Since we bathe her nightly and don’t want to dry out her skin, we only wash her hair 3-4 times per week and we use a very gentle body wash. This incredible bath mat is easy to lift up when I’m cleaning the tub but the rest of the time, it stays in place and helps ensure that Katie doesn’t slip. This helps ensure that Katie doesn’t burn herself on the water spout while also providing a fun thing for her to point at each night!
It’s the second day of March and the view outside my window is a snowy, winter wonderland. Even though we only received 3-4 inches during the night, that is the most snow we’ve had since our early season snow in November
In today’s post, I’m going to share the five things that I never leave home without if I’m traveling. It is lightweight, has pockets everywhere, easy-to-access zip pockets that are perfect for stowing those items I use frequently during flight, and has a strap that allows me to easily add it to my rolling suitcase. When I’m not working from my home office I’m either traveling or working from our WeWork in Manhattan which is a co-working space. Once again, I realize the price is a bit more than other comparable water bottles but the quality is fantastic and that’s important when you’re thinking about traveling across the country with it and placing it near papers and computers that could be ruined if a water bottle leaks.
While I considered altering my clothes from last year, I realize that there is a good chance I’ll need them again in a few years if and when Bo and I are able to have a second child. Some years, our time in Savannah hasn’t been as relaxing as we’ve hoped and a lot of that has been due to me. In addition, since Bo has been father of the year recently due to my travel schedule, I’m hoping he’ll take time to enjoy some workouts or solo time to relax. We have no plans for our time home other than a combined Christmas Eve celebration with Bo’s parents and my family.
