Last week John and I drove to Latrobe , a pretty little town on our island's north west coast, for lunch at a French inspired restaurant and to spend a gift voucher we were given for Christmas. As it turned out we did have a yummy lunch but came home with the gift voucher as there was nothing quite right this time, a good excuse for a return visit. My Oriental inspired outfit consists of wide silk M.A.Dainty pants, black Paula Ryan tee, Trippen sandals and a silk haori. Another reason I enjoy wearing my haori is the memories it evokes of my trip to Japan in 2016.I came across this beautiful couple in their tr, aditional attire in a park in Tokyo and couldn't resist a cheeky shot, they were actually posing for a professional photographer.

second property was Castelo de Estremoz , perched on the hill overlooking the town of Estremoz in the Alentejo region. Grand lounge areas with antique furniture , a comfortable bar lounge with views over the city, a breakfast room and the huge , elegant dining room all make you feel you are in another era. century Rococco style palace set in French style formal gardens, in the Algarve region. The reception area, public areas , bar and dining room are in the restored palace and the accommodation is in a separate new modern wing.
