We’ve begun to view the development of our standards and the acquisition of knowledge to be less a support system for our business than an increase in our momentum, and it energizes me to think about where that momentum might take us. As Business Analyst I am entrusted to work with team members and leaders across our organization to help collect business knowledge, insight, and outlooks for innovation and growth. When collaborating with our client partners, my role is to listen and seek a deep understanding of need, then to propose a solution based on the wealth of our team As we have continued to pursue growth, we have increased our focus on the need for clarity, simplicity and transparency, and I am fortunate to work at the crossroads of service and technology, where these concepts are fundamental to successful partnership.

At the beginning of the week we communicated a message to our team: people who felt more comfortable working from home could do so, but the office was staying open. People who had never worked from home before were setup and took their computers home, while people who were already remote patiently waited for people in transition to be able to get back to work. Our CEO, Becky, has been recording almost daily videos to post for our team, and even the content in the videos has shifted since March. We work to remember to be grateful every day, to embrace the differences among us, and to remember that with trust, positivity and a willingness to grow we’ll be ready for what’s next.

Day hikers can spend a few minutes or hours in the soft pine-needled woods that line the many lakes at the base of the mountains. The fields and fields of flowers had a soft buzz to them provided by the kindly bees, heavy from all the nectar (so, in my mind, disinterested in my salty skin).
