Bethany's first birthday party, and I thought I would share some pictures on here for some birthday party inspiration! I also, had just bought some cacti, and thought it would be fun to incorporate the cactus's as well. I also had fun sewing a cactus cover, from Spoonflower fabric, for Bethany's IKEA ANTILOP high chair. A couple were from the dollar spot, and the cacti were all from Home Depot and planted into terra cotta planters from Hobby lobby.
This line of "basics" will keep your little one super stylish, while allowing ease and comfort, that you and your babe will BOTH love! I thought I would do an update on how our shop Orchardbaby Boutique is doing. Married to brothers, raising kids as stay at home mamas, and sewing mini creations for your little ones. Of course our days are filled with so much more, but when we find the time away from wiping noses, sweeping up breakfast off the floor, and snuggling with our precious babes, we turn into little sewers, and its pretty awesome!
I want to make sure I write down and keep track of this pregnancy, and feel like this is the best way to do that. I hope you guys enjoy these little updates from time to time, and hopefully we can make some time to do some other posts, as well. : At my last appointment I was down 2lbs, however I'm sure that won't be the case at my next appointment. Maternity clothes: Maternity jeans, but mostly still regular tops, but getting close to busting out the maternity ones!
This party was a lot of work, but I actually had a lot of fun getting everything ready and putting it all together. The campfire sitting logs are tootsie rolls, and sitting on those are two toothpicks with mini marshmallows. A few of the decorations set-up above the dessert and snack table "Matches" with pretzel sticks dipped in white chocolate and red sprinkles "Acorns" and "Sticks" Acorns made with mini vanilla waffers, melted chocolate bark, and peanut butter morsals. "Don't Feed the Bears" mix with variety teddy grahams, mini marshmallows, and peanut butter morsals.
