It doesn’t help that the girls are eleven now, and the majority of the funny stories of our life cannot be told here. We bought what looked pretty, threw in a few perennials that I thought the backyard needed, and hauled it all home. I hauled the pots out and filled them with dirt, the girls decided which flowers went in which pots, and my mom helped them plant. I love that this was pure chaos when the girls were little, but now we churn out gorgeous pots like clockwork!

I got home a little later than usual and was starving, but I hate playing the game of “Are we willing to wait 30 minutes to get a table? We got right in, and since it’s only 5 minutes from our house we were back home in like 45 minutes. Saturday. We grabbed lunch at the mall, found some great deals at Gap and Old Navy, and hopefully got enough shirts to get them through the summer. We hadn’t played games in so long, it was really nice to get back to that family activity.

I’ll try to get better pictures in full day light, but it’s a nice light true gray. Thursday evening my dad and Caden put together Caden’s new daybed. We talked about repainting the frame white, but there’s enough white in her room, I think the darker wood looks nice. , it’s on that stretchy weave fabric, so my dad built a frame and he and Delaney stretched it out and stapled it.

If she grows another 3-4 inches in those years AND then hits her growth spurt? I feel like I don’t see a ton of crazy moods quite yet, appetites are all over the place, and we are definitely in the body changing phase.
