Dean, I don’t care about how you found your why”, let me tell you that I’m not doing this for me. If you’ve been to a conference or summit like I’m describing for work, you’ll know what I’m talking about. I have a great job, I don’t need your approval, and I don’t need to dress up for work. But if you’re thinking that, you couldn’t be more wrong.
Much of what I will share with you is specific to me, while other parts of it will hopefully be more general. Keep in mind that every body is different, and what worked (and didn’t) work for me might not work (or might actually work) for you
Athletes in professional and collegiate sports do yoga to support mobility and recovery training. And weight lifters & functional fitness athletes use it to restore flexibility and recover from their resistance training workouts. Wandering into your local studio or just pulling up a random yoga workout on YouTube might not get you the performance-enhancing workout you’re looking for. In short, yoga is great for athletes – but you need to be sure you’re doing the right type of yoga.

You probably don’t have time for 30 minutes of restorative stretching every night, so it’s important to figure out which restorative exercises are most appropriate for you. This program is a deloading program that helps your body to fully recover, allowing you to reap the full benefits of your time spent working out – and learn some Man Flow Yoga while you’re at it. This program is for the person who has neglected restorative and recovery work, but isn’t quite at the point where he needs to stop his other workouts.
