What travel have you postponed? #postponedontcancel Right now I'm supposed to be on an epic road trip adventure and on my way to the Women in Travel Summit @sheswanderful. And while I'm disappointed I'm not on a solo trip across the country, I'm actually rather excited at the prospect of doing this trip in November. I just hope the gas prices stay the same!

If you have kids, what are you doing for school? It’s no secret that we are fans of the Harry Potter franchise and Universal Studios in our house. Before the pandemic, I homeschooled my kids. Plus I work from home, so in reality not much is changed for us. ⠀ ⠀ However, it has. ⠀ ⠀ We don’t get to go to dance class. We don’t get to go to soccer. We don’t get to hang out with our friends. ⠀ ⠀ So one thing I’ve done is started to teach my kids and their friends Latin through the use of spells from the Harry Potter books. If you’re not familiar with the spells, most of them have roots in Latin words. This is a great way to get the kids to decode the words, and figure out similar words and what it means. ⠀ ⠀ We are all looking forward to the day that we can go back to Universal Studios. I was blown away by the rugged beauty, the friendly people, the amazing food, and so much more. Are you out taking a lot of walks? This is one of my favorite things to carry with me. It's a water bottle that has a long enough strap to sling over my shoulder.
