It’s time to head northeast and drive to Tenorio Volcano National Park to see the Rio Celeste waterfall.
The entrance fee to the park is about 14 USD and there’s a 6 kilometer hiking trail through a lush rainforest which leads you to the incredibly beautiful Rio Celeste waterfall and several other viewpoints.
There are several forest reserves in the area such as Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve and Children’s Eternal Rainforest.
