When I realized The Happy Planner wasn’t working for me anymore, I decided I’d go back to my roots — to the Plum Paper Planner. So if you aren’t loving your current planner and want something new partway through the year, you can get a new one and you can actually use it for a full 12 months! I always get questions from grad students and undergrads about how I use my planner and which one I have… so this post is meant to show y’all how I use my planner and what sorts of things I keep track of. This planner was a ready-to-ship planner so I didn’t have any customization on it.
And if you like keeping up with what I read in real time, you can follow me on Instagram where I post pics of what I’m reading all the time or you can add me on Goodreads! It’s a futuristic/dystopian sort of book which is funny because this is totally NOT the genre I enjoy reading nowadays. This is the first book I’ve read by Fredrik Backman and he has written a lot of books that are on my TBR list. This was my IRL book club pick for March although I didn’t get to attend the actual book club meeting.
In case you’re new here, these posts contain life updates, books I’ve read recently, TV shows and movies Movies we’ve seen: Since my last update post we’ve seen: Isn’t It Romantic, The Upside, and Captain Marvel! * Books I’ve read: I’ve been writing book update posts in January and February! So far this month I’ve read The Giver and The Library Book. *
Last year, I did a reading update every quarter since I wanted to give myself time to read enough books to warrant a whole post. As always, you can keep up with my reading on Instagram (on stories and I try to post pics in my feed of what I’m reading as well! ) and on Goodreads. This year, since my goal is 52 books I’m trying not to feel bad about throwing in short books or graphic novels or re-reading old favorites. It taught me a lot about perspective and Tara’s writing style was so good that I had to remind myself many times that this book is not a work of fiction.
