#DishOurMilan Some beautiful shots of Milan from exactly 6 years ago today. The first picture is of the infamous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II — the most luxurious shopping mall in the world — and the second picture is of none other than Il Duomo Di Milano. This was our first stop on the trip my daughter and I took to Italy, which Andrew later joined when we went to Bologna. We’d do practically anything to go back and munch on a Veal Milanese!

#DishOurNYC Pictured are the two other dishes we indulged in on our first family night out since quarantine. @gnoccony has a great variety between more adventurous dishes (like Brenda’s Carpaccio Di Polpo in the second slide) and traditional, simple dishes (such as Bailey’s Gnocchi al Pomodoro e Bufala in the second slide). We highly recommend Gnocco if you’re craving Italian in a nice, family-friendly restaurant setting.

#DishOurNYC For our first dinner out since quarantine took effect, we ate at @gnoccony. We, of course, had to share the restaurant’s namesake appetizer, Gnocco (seen in first slide). Gnocco is a fried bread that goes perfectly with Salumi. Andrew had one of his all-time favorite Italian dishes, Vitello Tonato (seen in second slide) — cold roast veal topped with tuna and mayonnaise. Not to be outstayed, is also the spritz! Stay tuned for more delicious dinners.

#DishOurNYC Phase 2 in NYC!! For our very first meal in a restaurant since Covid-19 struck in March, we chose to have dinner at Gnocco. Socially distanced tables actually feel very refreshing in this summer wind and we’re very excited to have some Italian food (especially their signature dish, Gnocco).

#DishOurItaly Four years ago today, we were in Santa Marinella, Italy. The lesser known town just an hour drive/train ride away from Rome, was surely a surprise to us. Like many others, we didn’t know there were beautiful beaches in Italian regions other than Sicily. We ate amazing, affordable seafood dishes and relaxed in peace as we shut off our electronics while we were there. If you’re a beach person but also want to check out the beautiful city of Rome during summertime, Santa Marinella is the perfect town for you to stay.
