Bacon and Cheddar Charcuterie Board

I love the Snack Sticks for making Stuffed Crust Pizza, taking on road trips (which I hate with a passion) and snacking on with Fritos while I’m working (like right now). – Similar to pate, Rillettes is a French style charcuterie similar to pate, but the texture is more coarse, and mousse is a mixture of meat and liver that has a creamy texture. My Bacon and Cheddar Charcuterie Board is perfect for football parties, baby showers, dinner parties, but my favorite is making it for an at-home date night with a bottle of wine. Sirloin and Pork Burger with Blue Cheese Slaw

My Sirloin and Pork Burger with Blue Cheese Slaw and Charred Corn has a flavor combination that works so well, you would think I spent weeks developing it. It’s nestled on a bed of bacon, and topped with bleu cheese slaw (!!) and charred shoepeg corn. I’m not the biggest corn fan, but for some reason I love shoepeg corn. For reference purposes, I didn’t char the hell out of my corn, but feel free to.

Fig and Sriracha Blue Cheese Truffles

Fig and Sriracha Blue Cheese Truffles are a little salty, a little spicy and a little sweet. The spiciness from the Sriracha – combined with the salty edge you get from blue cheese – and a teensy tiny bit of sweetness from the figs is a flavor blend that was meant to be, y’all. People, generally speaking, are tired of the same shit they make all the time and usually open to new things. 💡 Bistro Blue Cheese Stuffed Meatballs from Seduction in the Kitchen Drunken Fig Jam from Cooking with Mary and Friends

Sour Cream Doughnuts

Sour Cream Doughnuts are cake like doughnuts that are dipped in a vanilla glaze, are perfect for dipping in coffee and look perfectly imperfect. Although I have been branching out a little in the past few years in the baking arena, you won’t catch my ass making macarons or any damn thing with fondant. I tried using fondant ONE time because I was determined to make a beautiful cake for my daughter’s 15th birthday. It’s a damn good thing I got started the day before her party, because making this cake caused me to go from coffee to chardonnay real freakin’ early.
