We need to grasp who Jesus is, what He says, and abide by His words. (The Voice) We can know who He is, what He says, and abide in Him when reading the Bible because it is His words given to us (John 1:1-2). We need to devote ourselves to reading, studying, and applying His word in our lives so we can know when the enemy attacks (2 Timothy 2:15). I know I did! As I was pondering the celebration of our nation’s freedom I began to ponder the freedom I have in Christ. However, before I talk about our freedom in Christ and the armor of God, I have to talk about what it is we are free from. Sometimes we chose not to live abundantly in an area of our lives or sometimes we don’t even know we are bound until the Lord reveals it and begins to work on our hearts.

There is nothing wrong with me giving of my time to these things because He wants me to honor Him in all of those areas. The Bible is God’s holy word and the main form of communication to His people. If not I need to ask God how He wants me to adore, honor, and respect Him in that area. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—

I began hearing a sound like rushing water and dropped everything and started towards the bathroom and couldn’t go further because there was water on the floor of the entryway leading to the bathroom. Well, because I know even in the midst of chaos and things not going the way I planned,  God is looking out for me and my family as I know that He will do for you and your family. I choose to believe that He will provide for us because He’s done it time and time again. Blessed that as I was cleaning up the water it didn’t smell like sewer and I didn’t have to deal with any sewage pieces besides toilet paper!
