* 1.5 yards of fabric for the outside of the laundry bag * 1.5 yards of fabric for the lining on the inside of the bag * 1/2 yard of cotton webbing for the handles Step 1: Wash, dry, and iron your fabric for the outside and the lining of the laundry hamper. First cut out 2 rectangles that measure 22 in X 29 in and then 1 circle that’s 18 in diameter from the outside fabric. Sew the two rectangles cut from the lining fabric together with the right sides together like you did for the outside fabric rectangles BUT leave an area of about 5 inches unsewn on one of the sides. Pin or clip the circle you cut out of the lining fabric to the tube of the lining fabric and sew all the way around, sewing 1/2 inch from the edge.
