Your generosity throughout 2018 helped us rescue, transport, spay/neuter, vaccinate, foster, and adopt over 1,600 animals in need from the Four Corners Region. Time is running out to make a tax-deductible, year-end gift to RezDawg so we can save more animals in need like Jax. He has a long hard road ahead of him but he’s in the right place (RezDawg Foster Home) with the right people (Melissa and Kevin Kovach – fosters extraordinaire) until he can live the rescued life. Serve as a cat care specialist at one of our 11 Petco and PetSmart stores, including feeding, cleaning, socializing and transport of new arrivals to stores). Works with our Adoption Coordinator, prepares and scans paperwork before and after events, arranges pickup of kennels and supplies, communicates with Foster Parents about events and provides any needed assistance during events. Helps to organize transports, meets each transport on the Front Range, ensures we have the correct paperwork for each animal, scans documents, and meets Foster Parents as they arrive to pick up their fosters. CDL a big plus. Mentors newer foster parents by providing supervision, answers, general support and occasional face-to-face meetings.
In conclusion: Puma found her forever people (in a one-pet household), endorphins were released and rescue is easier and more rewarding than you think. There is irony in being the de facto cat lady for a dog rescue
